The Centre for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP) and the African Union Development Agency-NEPAD are delighted to invite you for the final episode of The Africa-India Global Dialogue Series, titled “Shared Histories, Emerging Futures: Africa and India in a Multipolar World”. This webinar is scheduled for Thursday, October 30, 2025, 4:00 – 5:00 PM IST | 12:30 – 1:30 PM SAST.
As the culminating episode of the Africa-India Global Dialogue Series, this conversation will reflect on the future of Africa-India cooperation. Building on earlier dialogues around digital innovation, critical minerals, health, and agriculture, this session will explore the growing investments from India to Africa and examine how economic diplomacy can serve as a catalyst for sustainable development. Featuring insights from David Rasquinha, former Managing Director & CEO of EXIM Bank India, and Fatma Ahmed from UNDP’s Regional Programme for Africa, the discussion will highlight pathways for deepening financial and development partnerships between the two regions in an evolving global economic landscape.
This ten-part monthly webinar series, co-hosted by AUDA-NEPAD and CSEP, is a flagship initiative that has brought together leading voices from Africa, Asia, and beyond to advance dialogue on development. The series will culminate in a joint report titled “The Africa-India Blueprint for Sustainable Growth”, to be launched at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa in December 2025.
